The Blackout Pact
The Blackout Pact are a punk/post-hardcore band formed in Denver, Colorado in 2003. They signed to the Astro Magnetics label in 2004, and released their debut album, Hello Sailor, in 2005. They went on to perform on the Warped Tour in summer 2006, then toured with Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Aiden, Silverstein, and It Dies Today. On the latter tour, an incident occurred that led to the band breaking up on November 6th, 2006. At the time, the members were Wisam Alshaibi (drummer), Billy Joe "BJ" Bailey (bassist), Mike Delmonico (guitarist), Justin Hackl (guitarist), and Mike Herrera (vocalist). Seth Piracci was listed as the band's "Spiritual Advisor." Former band members include Ian Johnsen, Joe Ramirez, Nate Reisig, and Cory Trendler.
On October 14, 2008, punknews.org reported the following statement from band members:
"The original members of The Blackout Pact are getting together to record one more record. [We] will be meeting up in February to record three to five more songs to be pressed and ready for a summer release and our last tour ever." Read more on Last.fm.
