The D4
The D4 were formed in 1998 by Dion Lunadon and Jimmy Christmas at a birthday party. They released 2 albums 6TWENTY and OUT OF MY HEAD both of which went top 20 in their homeland of New Zealand. They toured throughout Australasia, Europe, North America and Japan playing festivals and headlining tours.
"Ladies Man" was their only top 40 single in the UK and "Get Loose" broke top 40 rock radio airplay in the US. This was followed by appearances on Letterman and the like. Many of The D4's songs have been used in commercials, movies and video games.
In 2006 The D4 announced that they were going on a indefinite hiatus. Lunadon went on to form The True Lovers in NYC with an album slated for release in 2010. Christmas formed Luger Boa and released their debut album in 2008. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
