The Defiled
The Defiled are a 5-piece London based metal band, mixing groove-laden hardcore metal with furious electronics. Described by Kerrang! as "an explosive mangle of Manson stagecraft and middle finger metal" the band have built a fierce fanbase following support slots with bands such as Murderdolls, The 69 Eyes and Dry Kill Logic, culminating in a performance at Bloodstock Open Air 2008. They were also the opening act on the 2010 Jagermeister Music Tour along with Exit Ten and Sylosis .
These gigs have earned the band a reputation for causing chaos at their gigs, with band members, instruments and spectators in the audience all receiving a battering whenever the band plays live. With a series of sought-after demos trading between fans, the band released their first EP in 2009, and released their full album 'Grave Times' for free In January with Metal Hammer,
The Deluxe version of the album plus a bonus disk, which included the 1888 ReWorks EPand 2 music videos, was released on 14th February 2011.
The Defiled are headlining the Jagermeister stage at Sonisphere in July 2011 and the main stage at Bloodstock Open Air in August 2011.
