The Seeker
The Seeker consists of 2 main members: D.K. (alias for Daichi Kuroda [黒田大地]) on vocals and K-ITO (Kenichi ito [[artist]伊藤賢一] on guitar with support from Daisuke Asakura (浅倉大介) on synth and guitar/bass.
In 1994, Daichi Kuroda was made champion of Junon Super Boy (he was around 16 years old). It is said that it was because he wore a pink foreign-style dress to stage, which gave the judges a shock. In August 1998, Daichi acted in "Kindaichi shounen no jikenbo". From October 1995 till March 1996 he acted in a tv show called "Black out". Nothing else is known of that period of time.
Then Gravitation begun. For the people who have no clue of what Gravitation is; it's a shounen-ai Manga and Anime. The story is about a boy named Shuuichi member of a band named 'Bad Luck'. Of course they needed people to sing songs for 'Bad luck' and 'Nittle grasper' (the band that Shuuichi idolizes). For the anime, Daisuke Asakura wrote almost all of the songs (except the songs from Mad Soldiers).
When the OVA was being produced, Daisuke Asakura was in ICEMAN. Kenichi Ito was also a member from ICEMAN. Daisuke and Kenichi teamed up Mad Soldiers. It was a production for Kotani kinya (コタニキンヤ) (the singing voice of Shuuichi). He recorded all of the music for Bad Luck. ICEMAN split up and instead, the Nittle grasper song in the TV-series was recorded by K.Ito+D.K. (K.ito = Ken'ichi Ito). They changed their name to The Seeker after the song for Gravitation: "Sleepless beauty".
After a while Kenichi left the band and Daisuke entered The Seeker as a support member. In total, they released 2 albums, 4 singles, a live album and two DVD's.
But unfortunately, on 5 June 2005 The Seeker disbanded.
