The Teens
After forming in western Berlin in 1976, the school band was discovered by producer Norman Ascot. The Teens used to play pop-rock similar to the Bay City Rollers. Having played some songs on TV in 1978, The Teens became famous all over Germany over night.
When starting to make musich in 1976, the four band members Robert Bauer, Uwe Schneider, Jörg Treptow and Michael Uhlich were 12-14 years old and by that the youngest successful artists in Germany.
After splitting up in 1982, the Teens had a comeback in 1996, re-recording some of their singles and creating some new. After that year, several members were replaced, and in 2002 the last of the Teens was seen on TV. Read more on Last.fm.
