The Triple Tree
The Triple Tree is a side project of Sol Invictus front man Tony Wakeford. In the first release, 'The Turning Wheel' (2005), Tony explores a more intricate ambient side of his music, without totally letting go of his unique approach to modern folk.
Singer Andrew King has joined the band for the recordings of a new album, 'Ghosts', released in September 2008. Guests: Kris Force (violin, voice), Renee Rosen (violin), Guy Harries (voice, flute, melodica), Autumn Grieve (voice), M. (sounds, electronics, vibraphone, marimba) and John Murphy (drums, percussion). Focusing this time on M. R. James' writing and the New Testament Apocrypha, Wakeford & co. continue their sonic experiments. Read more on Last.fm.
