Thomas Schwartz
Thomas Schwartz is one half of the renowed production duo Starchaser. Along with Fausto Fanizza, the two producers have been working since 2001 to successful realeases featuring dance superstar singers ("Love Will Set You Free", "Falling Star" and "Fate" feat. Steve Edwards, "Let Your Mind Go" feat. Shena). The "magic" behind the duo is made up by the musical culture mix brought by each one, a wide variety of influences and musical taste ranging from 70's Disco and Funk, New Wave, Psychedelic Rock, House, Trance, Techno.
Thomas spent his early years after his birth travelling around the world with his family ending up in 1989 in Italy where he still lives and works. Always fond of music, his first approach to this world begins in 1988 in Paris where he discovers his love for piano and starts studying it.
His passion for house and trance music starts to grow in the mid 90's: Chicane, Daft Punk, Paul Van Dyk, Underworld just to mention a few. Hours and hours spent "devouring" music inspire him and give him greater desire to start creating. Not only house music..his house is full of vinyls and cds of 70's Dance music and 80's New Wave which he listens to day after day.
The Thomas Schwartz projects are the result of a desire of the duo to experiment and try new sounds. Thomas works on his first project in autumn 2007, combining his passion for New Wave, Trance and Progressive sounds; the result is "Jupiter Calling", first chapter of the Voyager project. The track was appreciated by most of the best dance dj's and producers around the worlds becoming also the anthem of the famouse polish summer event Tunnel Electrocity 2008.
Aside from his production duty, Thomas is co-owner with Fausto of the label The Clubbers Productions. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
