Tomalo
In 1998 was formed Tomalo and they started to play live shows inmediately, but until july of that year they couldn't stablished their line up. When this happenend, they started to write their own songs. The results of all this work saw the light of day in 1999 in a self product CD called simply "Tomalo". In this record we could see the ideas of the band. There were three tracks sang in English (for a total of nine) and there was a hidden cover version of Kiss. At the end of that year they lost a member and decided to keep them as a three member band. In 2000 they had a lot of work. They took part in diverse compilations and tribute albums and did a lot of shows. But the outstanding show was when they could share stage with Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks) when he came to Argentina. In the same year they launched their web site, a tool very important for them. 2001 was a year to write new songs and do shows. Speaking about the last point they had concerts in Misiones Province where they were very welcomed starting a special relationship. They played in Cordoba city too and managed to play as a supporter act to Vince Neil in his show in Buenos Aires city, which was held in Obras Sanitarias Stadium. In 2002 they released "Play it loud" totally written in English, a thing which opened for them a lot of doors in the rest of the world like in Usa, Spain or Netherlands. There was a new show in Misiones and they were included in rankings of alternative radios from Europe and Northamerica. They gave two tracks to the soundtrack of an Argentinian film called "Allan" and recorded a special song for a radio program called "Un viaje a las puertas del Rock". In 2003 they had new shows in Misiones and then they shot their first viedo clip for the song "Love is". In 2003 they offered their new cover album complete by internet in their web site. The songs was elected by a fans poll during almost a yearand there were songs from diverse artists and genres. For instance AC/DC, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Ramones or Beach Boys. The album was called "Optimizer interactive covers". Near the end of that year the band was invited to participate in a compilation album with a cover version of "The final Countdown" (Europe). In 2005 they signed a deal with Del Imaginario Discos in order to release their fourth album "Goodbites" in which they show themselves more versatiles, but always being Hard Rock. They marked another distinctive fact with this album including a version of the Elvis Presley classic's "Heartbreak Hotel".
