1) Tugboat is one of the performing names of Jesse Novak (aka J-no), used for songs composed in 8-bit style and for live shows where he plays along to these compositions on the drums.

The members are Jim Dean (vocals & guitar), Bek Varcoe (vocals & drums) and Jeremy Smith (bass & electronics). They formed in 1999 and have released two albums and two EPs.

3) Tugboat were a lo-fi indie-rock outfit from Trondheim, Norway. They released a split EP with Attack (From The Vault, 1998), a split 7" with Null$katte$nylterne (Shake Hands And Be Friends With Prudence, 1999) and two albums (Tugboat, 2000 and Royal Flux, 2002).
4) Tugboat was formed by Cameron Gray of Change of Seasons fame, in 1991 in Toronto, Canada. A few songs appear on compilation LP's and cassettes, most notably on Egg Records "Souvenirs from Egg Records".
