1) Tweak is a South African Pop-Punk band that hails from Johannesburg. The line up consists of brothers Garth (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Bugsy (drums), Chris (bass) and Mike (guitar). Their first album, The Romantic Lure Of Possum Worship, was also their breaking album in the South African scene. It spawned such hits as "Birthday Card" and "Buy The World". 2) TWEAK aka Cyril Boehler represents a new breed of producers from Switzerland, mixing percussive beats, catchy melodies and futuristic soundscapes. Ever since his underground clubhit "Fathorn" featuring the electronic fusion with an Alphorn, TWEAK‘s vinyl releases on Straight Ahead, Comet Records and Head2toe have been garnering respect from a wide international circle. Starting with his first release, TWEAK’s tracks have been consistently finding themselves charted in the playlists of renowned international DJs such as Jazzanova, 4Hero, Swag and Chicken Lips.
Since the release of his highly acclaimed album "Hybrid Organics", TWEAK has been rocking dancefloors with his own brand of beats as a wildstyle DJ, spinning as a resident DJ at the "Le nouveau beat" at Moods in Zürich. He has DJ’d alongside Metro Area, Recloose, Spektrum, Erobique and played festivals like Lethargy in Zürich.
Since his teenage years Cyril has been making filmmusic, including composing many TV jingles and creating soundtracks for feature films. Cyril spent five years in Boston USA, where he played drums for various bands and graduated from the renowned Berklee College of Music with a diploma in Filmmusic. As TWEAK he has also lent his programming talents to remixes for Klein Records, Compost's Minus8 and Stephan Eicher and worked on productions with Tony Allen (drummer of Fela Kuti), Freeform Arkestra and Seelenluft.
3) Tweak was an experimental Electronica/IDM producer who released on the Torrentech netlabel. His only full release was called "Your Brain on Drugs" (2011). Two of his tracks ("Help!" and "This Lollipop") were subsequently featured on the "Best of Torrentech Vol. 4" in the same year.
