Vampire Slayer
VAMPIRE SLAYER is Valentin Torres (b. 1981), a self-taught musician who started his career with the now defunct dance punk band Maniqui Lazer.
Immediately after their break up this vampire killer ventured into a solo career and since then has aimed his digital and analog ammo towards a more personal terrain where the night, the sexual and the black & white take place.
Digital collage, drones, lost melodies and microbeats fight for their place in each song's mix, led by a dense ambient fog that recalls projects like Fennesz, Oneohtrix Point Never and Sunn O))).
Valentin also started a small netlabel called Indiangold Records in 2010, showcasing all kinds of indie, punk, electronic and experimental artists.
