2. Volant is a trio from Birmingham, Alabama. The writing nucleus is comprised of twins Keith and Kevin Harrison, formerly of TVT recording artists Wayne.
Producer Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Virgos Merlot, Wayne, Lynam, Mars Electric, Maylene & the Sons of Disaster… ) directs and engineers their projects.
Original drummer Jon Hornsby, also of Wayne, was recently replaced by multi-instrumentalist David Crenshaw (Ruben Studdard, Just a Few Cats) as a collaborative partner and drummer. Volant is currently writing and recording songs for their upcoming release. Their 2003 eponymous ep is available now. Read more on Last.fm.
