Wayne Jackson is featured singer on Paul Van Dyk 's singles The other side (radio edit) and Stormy Skies.
He is co-producer of Bela B. 's solo albums "Bingo" and "Code B" and guitar player in Los Helmstedt (Bela's Band). In 2007 he produced the Lost In Reverie album for Lula. Wayne Jackson also appears in the role of duet partner on Come Along With Me. An early version of the song is featured in the German cinema film Vineta. His solo album The Long Goodbye was produced by him and Swedish producer Michael Ilbert. Some of the songs can be listened to at www.myspace.com/waynejackson Most of the recording was done in the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, using lots of the old equipment which appeared on David Bowie's seminal Berlin trilogy of albums.The piano used on Shine On is the very same one which can be heard on Bowie's Heroes. The first single Glorious had been chosen by Germany's largest TV station RTL to feature in their Pfingsten film campaign. "The Long Goodbye" has been released on 15th of August 2008 by Spy Satellite/ Columbia.
2009 Wayne Jackson left his former Label Columbia/SonyBmg and signed to BMG Rights Management. "Hallelujah" is the first single of his second solo album "Undercover Psycho" and will be released on November 13. "Hallelujah" is featured song of the German movie "Die Tür" starring Jessica Schwarz, Mads Mikkelsen & Heike Makatsch. The mystery drama is based on the novel „Die Damalstür“ by Akif Pirinçci.

#2 Wayne Jackson (West Memphis, Arkansas, November 24, 1941 – June 21, 2016) was an American soul and R&B musician, playing the trumpet in the Mar-Keys, in the house band at Stax Records and later as one of The Memphis Horns, "arguably the greatest soul horn section ever".
Together with Andrew Love, he created the signature horn sound at Stax on hit records by Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and others.
After the years recording at Stax, they incorporated themselves into The Memphis Horns and began freelancing, recording on sessions for such artists as Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Al Green, and Dusty Springfield. The duo also toured with The Doobie Brothers, Jimmy Buffett, Robert Cray, and numerous other performers.
In 2012, the Memphis Horns received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding artistic significance in music.
Jackson died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis of congestive heart failure. His death came after several years of failing health during which he still maintained an active schedule earning an income by giving personalized guided tours at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music. He was 74.
