ZhayTee
ZhayTee (IPA [ʒeɪ.tiː]) is a musician, producer, and programmer. He began writing music at a young age in 1990 upon learning how to play the piano. Fascinated by game and demoscene music, he began to write music with help from computers by using Impulse Tracker. As a newbie tracker, he submitted an entry to the famous hornet.org Music Competition 6, and he has been producing music ever since.
Over the last decade, he has produced over 200 pieces of music, with styles ranging from orchestral to electronica to acid jazz. In addition to his solo works, Zhay has produced soundtracks for several games and short films, including GPL-licensed projects such as Adonthell: Waste's Edge, Pingus, and Battle for Wesnoth.
In 2001, Zhay began using more advanced technology to compose music; specifically, he began using an audio production suite called "Logic Audio" by a small German company called Emagic. These days, Logic is developed and published by Apple, and Zhay still uses it as his primary sequencer and multitrack mixer.
