halocene
Overflowing at the seams of a city where droughts outshine the rain, Phoenix, Arizona’s self-professed “do-it-yourself” artist(s), Halocene, are bringing on their own reign of modern-rock music to the thirsty scene.
Fronted by the prevailing vocals of Addie Nicole, Halocene broke out of the floodgates with their sharp debut album, The Secret. The self-produced, self-recorded, and self-distributed commercial/retail release came to fruition after 3 months of writing/recording in Brad Amick (producer/guitarist) & Cash Hart’s (guitarist) south Phoenix home. The three unveiled Halocene’s debut EP in April of 2009. The band includes drummer Anthony Yacovetta, and bass player Chris Steinbach. Halocene later released the album Can You Hear Us Now? (2011), singles Nightmares and Adore You Parody (2013), and the EP Make It Loud (2014).
The band, orchestrated by Brad Amick after meeting Addie Nicole online through Craigslist in Arizona, was put together with the mindset of making their music a business and a way of life. With such integrity and drive, Halocene has since accomplished notable milestones and continues to effectively grow day by day.
Halocene’s primitive drive to abundantly entertain their audiences (on and off the stage) brings about a constant presence in the up-and-coming music scene. With their melodious shows packed with high energy, enriching aesthetics, slapstick-humor, and distinctive crowd involvement, there’s no secret at all to how Halocene is cutting through the over-saturated music landscape. They’re truly a band who entertains. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
