Ёлка
Ёлка (transliterated as Yolka) is a Ukrainian pop and R&B singer. She was born on July 2, 1982 in Uzhhorod, Ukraine as Jelyzaveta Val'demarivna Ivanciv (Ukrainian cyrillic: Єлизавета Вальдемарівна Іванців).
In 2004, Ivanciv was discovered by Vlad Valov, the leader of the rap group Bad Balance. Ivanciv then released her first studio album "Gorod obmana" (Cyrillic: «Город обмана») in 2005. Her subsequent studio albums include "Teni" («Тени») in 2006 and "Etot velikolepnyĭ mir" («Этот великолепный мир») in 2008.
In 2008, Ivanciv won a Golden Gramophone Award (Russian: «Золотой граммофон»; transliteration: "Zolotoy grammofon") for the song "Mal'chyk-krasavchyk" («Мальчик-красавчик»).
