动力火车

動力火車 (Power Station) is a Taiwanese pop rock duo that debuted in 1997, signed with What's Music International Incorporated (上華唱片) at the time (which later transformed into their current label HIM International Music Inc.). The group consist two members: 尤秋興 and 顏志琳, both members are from Pingtung County, the domicile of the Paiwan aborigines (Taiwanese natives).
The duo's most popular era was the late 90's, when they were on What's Music. Universal Music bought What's Music in 1999, and in 2001 some of the staff from What's Music formed HIM International Music Inc. The duo also moved their contract to HIM. HIM slowly lose their interest on the duo later as the label is more focusing on some other idol groups, due to the poor production and promotion the label gave them the duo were getting less and less popular since early 00's.
