飯塚雅弓
Mayumi Iizuka (飯塚雅弓, born January 3, 1977 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese actress, singer, and voice actress. She was enrolled in a theater group at the age of 3 and made her first acting debut in 1981 as a guest actress on a TV drama. She and her family lived in Taiwan for most of her elementary school years, and this is where she learned to speak Mandarin. Her family returned to Japan in 1989. She attended high school in Yokohama and attended Hosei University in Tokyo, where she graduated with a degree in law.
Her first voice acting role was Tsuneko in the 1991 Studio Ghibli movie おもひでぽろぽろ (English title: "Only Yesterday"). Her most prominent roles to date include Kasumi/Misty in Pocket Monsters and Lasty Farson in Angelic Serenade.
She debuted as a singer in 1997 with the album かたおもい (Kataomoi) and has released over 25 albums and singles since then. Her most recent album センチメンタルCANDY (Sentimental CANDY) was released in August 2013. Read more on Last.fm.
