Galactic Symposium
The Galactic Symposium, from Nottingham, UK, were a favourite of Radio One DJ John Peel, who played their single YMCA/Money for over 25 years, carrying their record in his now famous box of favourite music. They released only one single, a double 'B' side, covering versions of 'YMCA' and Pink Floyd's 'Money'. An album of unreleased tracks was released in 2006. The band were darlings of the DIY punk scene in the late 70's and little is known about them. A web site at www.galactic-symposium.com reveals little. Read more on Last.fm.
