Kontrol
1.) Kontrol is a Bulgarian punk-rock band. Founded in the late 80s, the band made its break-through 1991 with their album "Bumm", which dealed mainly with the communism rule in Bulgaria and other political and social topics actual at this time in the country. The band's success continued with their next album "Lele kako", which contained their best known hits of all time - the title song "Lele kako" and "Nay-shtastliviya den". After four albums the lead singer Kolyo Gilana left the band and was replaced with a new siner - Pecko (Пецко), who sang on the last album to date - the 2000 released "Pazete si decata". Pecko then started his own band Pecko Klecka Fecko, renaming it later to Bandata na Pecko, playing also punk rock with funny lyrics, similar to the style of the last Kontrol album, but including some fusion and funk elements.
The members of Kontrol, except Kolyo Gilana, have been making a project called Chuval Chuval for a while, where all the musicians performed on stage covered with sacks. The best known song from that project was "Tvurde sum krasiv".
Kolyo Gilana himself was doing a project called KGB (Kolyo Gillan Band), which existed for a short time and released just three songs.
2.) Kontrol is a finnish electro-pop/rock group, with one album Lihaa ja verta (Flesh and Blood) released in 2012. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
