“are quite deftly producing music which, given their combination of influences and experience has a unique charm entirely of its own, something that is often missing in today’s pop world.” … Tasty Fanzine, debut album review Jan 2009
“has us absolutely smitten … an overwhelming thought of Homestead or Sarah Records snatching this band up back in the day is an easy one to fathom.” … Milk Milk Lemonade review Dec 2008
“an enchanting musical experience that would bring a smile even to Morrissey’s face.” … Groundwaves FM, debut album review Feb 2009
“Carole Smart has a faraway and dreamy vocal quality that is captivating and has an old world sound on certain tracks; she can also sound very straightforward and matter of fact on others. It is a nice duality.” Ex Mogul ‘Wistful Wanders’ album review April 2009
“Salford duo So Shush's second album in the space of nine months is a pedigree indie trip. You are set up for a treat from the very start … In fact you can quite happily allow the whole album drift in and out of your being. Wistful vocals backed with lolloping melodies wander around your sound buds for a more than appetizing 30 minute stint” - iMusicate ‘Wistful Wanders’ album review April 2009
“while sounding modern that will appeal to today’s audience, have an ‘old soul’ feel to them, which works very well and brings something fresh to the table. There are many anthems in this album, so check it for yourself, I did!!" Clown Magazine ‘Wistful Wanders’ album review June 2009
