Swami
Swami is an active award-winning British Indian electronic world music act from London, UK, fusing house and hiphop with Indian Bhangra and Bollywood influences. Led by producer Diamond Duggal (aka DJ Swami) and featuring guest vocal collaborations from across the globe.
NOTE: From 1989 to 1991 there existed a separate folk rock band with the same name from Indonesia consisting of Iwan Fals, Sawung Jabo, Naniel, Nanoe, Innisisri, Jockie Surjoprajogo and Totok Tewel. Two songs that became hits were "Bento" and "Bongkar".
